Although there are a wide variety of laser skin treatments available, all work according to the same basic principle: the treatment area is exposed to a laser beam or other light source which gently heats up the skin tissues as light energy is converted to heat energy. This revolutionary device uses fractionated laser technology to deliver all the benefits of deep resurfacing while decreasing the downtime required. A further benefit of the HALO laser is that it operates on two distinct wavelengths, combining ablative and non-ablative laser technologies to achieve both light skin resurfacing on the uppermost layers while stimulating dramatic regeneration in the skin’s deeper tissues.

Light peels, such as the Nano Laser Peel, will require very little downtime and your skin will heal within 2-3 days. BBL Hero therapy also requires virtually no downtime. More extensive peels will require a longer recovery period: both the Micro Laser Peel and ProFractional laser skin resurfacing treatment can require downtime of five to seven days.
